Free use with approved access

1. Public demonstration

Anyone may explore the public demonstration and sample reports. The demonstration uses fictional records and disables operational actions. Public access does not grant access to the full workspace or permission to redistribute the software.

2. Approved full-version access

Subject to owner approval and acceptance of these terms, approved users may access the specified full-version workspace without a software licence fee. Approval applies only to the named users, organization, deployment and scope agreed with Mohammed Badawy. It is non-exclusive and non-transferable. Approval does not grant source-code access or rights to resell the software.

3. Operational deployment

Approval to access a workspace is not acceptance for operational use. Use with real organizational records requires a separate written deployment scope and completion of IT, security, workflow and calculation acceptance. Confidential hospital or patient records must not be entered into the public demonstration or an unaccepted workspace. Managed operational hosting and the native iOS app are not released. Salesforce and SAP are not connected.

4. Branding and attribution

Keep the Beyond the Service by MB name, MB logo, copyright notices and attribution visible in authorized copies, report templates and approved modifications. Do not remove or replace this branding without written permission. Attribution does not grant ownership of the brand or permission to present a modified product as an official release. Clearly identify approved modifications and their maintainer. Third-party components retain their own licence terms; these conditions apply only to rights held by the licensor and remain subject to applicable law.

5. Future development and contributions

Suggestions and development proposals are welcome. Source access is provided only to approved contributors under a separate written agreement. The main source repository remains private and official changes are reviewed by Mohammed Badawy before release. Contributors retain their existing rights; permission to incorporate, maintain and distribute a contribution must be agreed in writing before it is merged. Submitting a suggestion or requesting access does not automatically transfer copyright or grant source access.

6. Redistribution, resale and rebranding

Do not publish the source, redistribute application copies, sublicense, resell, offer a competing hosted copy or rebrand the product without a separate written agreement. Organizations may use the application internally for the approved scope, including their own commercial service operations; this does not authorize selling or hosting the software for others. This is an approval-based software licence, not an open-source licence.

7. Hosting, implementation and support

A free software licence does not include hosting, database or storage services, implementation, migration, training, integrations, custom development, third-party subscriptions or unlimited support. Any paid services, support hours, response commitments and infrastructure responsibilities must be agreed separately. No payment is required merely to submit an access request.

8. Data and access management

Your organization retains its rights in its own data. Do not submit records you are not authorized to use. Data location, retention, export, deletion, backups and recovery responsibilities must be documented before operational deployment. Hosted access may be suspended or revoked for misuse, security concerns or breach of these terms; any operational continuity, notice and export arrangements must be set out in the deployment agreement. Previously downloaded files cannot be remotely recalled.

9. Limitations

The evaluation software is supplied as-is, to the extent permitted by law, without an availability commitment or clinical, security or accounting certification. Automated tests are not independent production acceptance. No exclusive ownership of general ideas or mathematical methods is claimed.
